Each of these unique Spirit Friends measures 2" to 3” approximated, glazed and decorated with game stones. They come with a strength in a gift box with story card. Expertly created with a stunning raku finish, designed and produced by Jeremy Diller. Each handcrafted Raku gift is fired in an outdoor kiln. Red hot, it is pulled from the kiln and placed into a pit with wood shavings. The intense heat ignites a blaze giving this Raku piece unique flashes of color, making each truly a one-of-a-kind gift.
If your wondering what Raku no worries we will tell you. It is actually a Japanese style of pottery. It was first made during the 1580s; the practice is characterized by the removal of a clay object from the kiln at the height of the firing and causing it to cool very rapidly. By doing so it ensures that each piece comes out looking different even thought the same glaze was used so no two are the same!
